About us

TaleMova is a small digital publisher of illustrated stories. We write original tales, illustrate them and set them to music, and you turn them into a book with the names you choose: your daughter, your nephew, your partner or your pupils.

Why TaleMova exists

A story whose hero shares your name reads differently. We wanted any family to be able to give that experience in a minute, without signing up, without paying and without handing over personal data. That is why your books are prepared in your own browser and only stored on our server if you decide to share them, and even then only for 7 days.

How we make the stories

Every story starts from our own script with two characters, four to twelve scenes and a positive message: friendship, courage, generosity or curiosity. Illustrations are made as double-page spreads so the book looks like a real one, and each genre has its own music, typeface and reading table. We check that the text fits and reads well with long names and in every language.

Languages

Stories are written in English or Spanish and offered in 10 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian. Translations into languages other than the original are automatic; if you spot a mistake, write to us and we will fix it.

Who is behind it
